Islands and Atolls, Pamphlet Architecture 33, by Luis Callejas of LCLA Office, presents small-scale landscape interventions that seek to reclaim archipelagos and preserve sites with ecological potential. Each project engages territorial politics, designed atmospheres, and oceanic resources. Callejas engages sites such as the shores of a river that separate the city of Kiev, Ukraine, a former racing track in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and decaying houses along the Venice Lagoon.
