Pamphlet Architecture 32: Resilience by Stasus, composed of James A. Craig and Matt Ozga-Lawn, focuses on Warsaw, Poland, a war-torn city forced to resist and reconstruct. By documenting and collecting from both field studies and film, Craig and Ozga-Lawn create devices and “animated landscapes” through drawings and plans – mediating between Warsaw and the Edinburgh studio of Stasus. Resilience addresses the capacity to cope, the ability to bounce back, and the mitigation and management of risk.
